COM Dean, VP Medical Affairs Candidates to Present Next Week

Next week, the second and third candidates for the position of Vice President for Medical Affairs and Dean of the USA College of Medicine will give public presentations at USA.

Dr. Michael S. Bronze, who currently serves as the David Ross Boyd Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, will present on Tuesday, March 1, at 1 p.m. in the Health Sciences Building, College of Nursing auditorium on the first floor, Room 1013.

Dr. Marc Mitchell

Dr. Marc Mitchell, who currently serves as the James D. Hardy Professor of Surgery and vice-chair for education in the department of surgery at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss., will present on Wednesday, March 2, at 1 p.m. in the Health Sciences Building, College of Nursing auditorium on the first floor, Room 1013.

If you are unable to attend Dr. Bronze's or Dr. Mitchell's presentations on campus, you may view the presentations via WebEx at the USA Medical Center Conference Center, located on the hospital’s second floor.

The presentations will also include Q & A sessions. USA faculty and staff are encouraged to attend.
