Dr. Troy Stevens, professor of pharmacology and director of the Center for Lung Biology at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine will lecture at the Mobile Museum of Art on Oct. 21, 2009, as part of the Med School Café, the USA Physicians Groups monthly lecture series.Dr. Stevens will discuss the center's outreach program Percipio, a collection of colorful, striking images that were produced by scientists at the USA College of Medicine, in the process of conducting their research.
Percipio is a Latin term meaning to learn through the senses. The program is designed to educate the community about science through art.
Lunch will be provided for lecture attendees.
