Medical alumni gather for 2019 Reunion Weekend

Alumni and their families reunited in Pensacola Beach for the 2019 Medical Alumni Reunion Weekend, hosted by the University of South Alabama Medical Alumni Association.

The weekend offered numerous opportunities to earn Continuing Medical Education credits, a dinner, an awards reception and class parties.

Susan LeDoux, Ph.D. '86, associate dean of medical education and student affairs at the USA College of Medicine, received the Distinguished Service Award.

Steven Kinsey, M.D. '89, a general surgeon at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, Alabama, received the Medical Alumni Humanitarian Award.

David Adkison, M.D. '84, an orthopedic surgeon at St. Vincent's Orthopedics, P.C. in Birmingham, Alabama, received the Distinguished Medical Alumni Award. He also serves as president of AMC Birmingham and is founder and director of American Physicians Group.
