of South Alabama College of Medicine and a surgical oncologist with USA
Physicians Group, presented the July Med
School Cafe lecture titled “Cancer Update 2016: The Significance of Familial Cancer Syndromes.”
This lecture explored the current state of cancer
treatment and care in 2016 with a review of the recently published
American Cancer Society data. Dr. Liles discussed the current state of prevention, screening and treatment with a focus on the emerging area of familial cancer syndromes.
