The AMA-WPS’ Inspirational Physicians Program presents an opportunity for physicians to express appreciation to the unique men and women who have offered their time, wisdom and support throughout their professional journeys.
AMA-WPS members were invited to tell about a professional colleague or teacher who has served a special role in their life and career. The individual may have inspired them to greater heights, steered them into a specialty they love, helped them find balance in life and work, guided them through their professional society, challenged them to surprise themselves, or unknowingly been a role model for them and to others.
This year Dr. Parker was recognized for being one of these inspirational leaders with the AMA-WPS.
