Instagram is a social network that allows users to view and share photos quickly and easily. In just four years since it initially was released, the network has grown to include more than 300 million users accessing the site each month. Many users choose to apply "filters" to images they share, making them look more vibrant and appealing than unedited photos.
The easiest way to start using Instagram is to download the free mobile app from iTunes or the Google Play store. Users can register a new account or simply connect using their Facebook account. From there, they can start following the accounts of their friends or organizations.
