Last week, Dr. Druhan Howell, assistant professor of internal medicine at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and an allergist with USA Physicians Group, presented the August Med School Café lecture, "Tis the Season to be Sneezin': Allergies in Mobile."During the talk, Dr. Howell discussed common types of allergies, as well as symptoms of allergies. She also provided important information on how to avoid and control allergies and allergic reactions.
The next Med School Café lecture will feature Dr. Daniel Dees, assistant professor of neurology at the USA College of Medicine. The lecture will take place Sept. 24, 2013, at the USA Faculty Club.
