Maria Bramhall, FNP-BC, recently joined the University of South Alabama department of neurology, located at 3301 Knollwood Drive.
Prior to her appointment at USA, Bramhall was a nurse practitioner with Pulmonary & Critical Care Specialists in Norfolk, Va.
Bramhall earned her nursing degree from Rutgers State University in Newark, N.J., and her master’s of science in nursing at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Miss.
In 2005, Bramhall began her career as a pediatric nurse at St. Joseph Children’s Hospital in Paterson, N.J. From 2006-2008 she served as a pediatric nurse at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, Miss.
She also worked as a registered nurse in the Meridian Miss. area at Alliance Health Center, Regency Hospital, Guardian Angel Hospice and HC Watkins Memorial Center. She later served as a telemetry nurse contract at Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, Va.
Bramhall is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is fluent in Spanish.
