Dr. Ian Grant Malcolm was recently appointed as associate professor of radiology at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine.Prior to his appointment as associate professor, Dr. Malcolm was a visiting assistant clinical professor of radiology at USA.
Dr. Malcolm earned his medical degree from Otago University Medical School in Dunedin, New Zealand. He completed his internship at Palmerston North General Hospital in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
Dr. Malcolm conducted his residency at Auckland Hospital Board’s Hospitals in Auckland, New Zealand and completed a fellowship in pulmonary radiology at the UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala.
Dr. Malcolm is board certified in diagnostic radiology. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the Medical Association State of Alabama and the Mobile County Medical Society.
