Currently, Dr. Howe is professor of physiology and biophysics at the Case Western Reserve University and a staff member in the department of cancer biology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Howe’s research focuses on understanding signaling mechanisms of transforming growth factor beta (TGFbeta) growth action.
He completed his B.A. in biology at Augusta College and his Ph.D. in biochemistry at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Howe completed his postdoctoral studies in cell biology at Vanderbilt University.
