His lecture, titled “Water, Salt, Mucus, and Cystic Fibrosis Lung Disease,” will take place April 7, 2011, at 4 p.m. in the Medical Sciences Building auditorium.
Dr. Ballard received a B.S. degree from North Carolina State University and an M.S. degree from the University of Kentucky. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of North Carolina.
