"Sandy was not just a good friend, she was like a sister to me. We were often together, at work and outside of work. Her laugh was priceless, and we laughed a lot! We truly had fun together and that made work a joy every day. I will miss her with all my heart. My very dear friend." Penny Cook
"Sandy had the best sense of humor and made coming to work a fun experience. She was a wonderful lady to work with, and she will be greatly missed." Kelli Roberson
"She was a beloved co-worker and dear friend to many. She will be deeply missed by the entire University family." Ashley Turbeville
"Sandy was one of those people that everyone wants as a work colleague, as well as a friend. There was no task too large or too small. If you needed help, Sandy was there with her good nature and knowledge. She will be missed for so many reasons, but most of all because she was just plain wonderful and we loved her." Judi Naylor
"Dearest friend and co-worker, Sandy was one of the most generous people I've had the privilege to know and work with. In the workplace, she was quick to give of her time and share her expertise. Sandy's generosity extended to her eagerness to welcome everyone into the Physiology family's daily workings, as well as special events, both in and apart from the department. She was family. Sandy shared so much of herself with many of us, on and off campus, on so many occasions." Lanette Flagge
